This year, we invited everyone to bring dressing gowns, teddies and cosy blankets to school for our 'drop everything and read' sessions. The day started with our Year 1 children sharing books with their families and Key Stage 2 classes celebrating World Book Day during their assemblies. Each year group was given a selection of new books for their classrooms that were bought with a grant from the Foyles Foundation. All the children had great fun sharing stories with their friends and some even enjoyed a relaxing read outside in the beautiful sunshine!
