Remembrance Day 2024

The School Council led our Remembrance Day assemblies, reminding the children about why we wear poppies and how we remember and say thank you to all those who have served in wars or conflicts. We sang the national anthem, listened to the Last Post and took part in the two-minute silence. Some children proudly came to school dressed in their Rainbow, Brownie and Scout uniforms and members of staff and children also shared stories of loved ones who had served in the armed services.
